amir finally had his breakfast at the hotel and he was happy about it. we had a slow and leisurely breakfast but the boys rushed us to the beach and the pool, realizing we'll be checking-out soon. asyraf managed to persuade hubby to go on the parasailing but amir had chickened out.
we spent over two hours under the hot sun in the pool before dragging ourselves back to the room to quickly shower and pack and check out. hubby made plans to meet his primary school teacher on the way to the airport as our flight was later in the afternoon and we had already checked-in. we had a quick lunch and to say hi to his teacher and family before making our way to the airport.
our time at the airport was not too long. luggage drop off was quick and we sat near the gate waiting to be called, as we were already full and were not out to look for any souvenirs.
the flight back was quick and smooth and we were home before it got dark.
it was a lovely getaway. a bit sad that we could not spend more time as a family but happy and proud of amir, who managed to put aside the holiday mood to contribute to his team's success during the tournament.
