the boys were a bit skeptical about today’s outing. no iron
man, no captain america, no thor, and it wasn’t near the apartment. they were
unsure…will today be as good as yesterday.
when we got to movie world, they started to warm up. first
of all, there was hardly a queue at the entrance. we went in fairly quickly
with the vip pass. then they saw the roller coasters, they saw batman and
superman. now they’re excited. we bypassed all the thrill rides and walked up
the main street. ariff was fascinated with the buildings. amir and asyraf saw
tweety, sylvester, bugs and started calling out to them. then they saw batman
and they were on cloud nine. ariff actually ran after him to get his attention.
we started to walk towards the end of the park, better get
the only thrill ride over with while the park was relatively empty. hubby took
amir, asyraf and ariff for a similar ride to yesterday’s viking, the wild west
falls adventure. we thought it was similar but it had a bit more twist in the
mountain that when they finally came out to drop into the water, asyraf and
ariff were in tears and totally inconsolable.
we walked back to the front of the park to catch the
hollywood stunt driver’s show. that was really nice. the boys loved it.
then we took them to the WB kids and they went on all the
rides.
we stopped right in time for the batman show and then made
our way to have lunch.
when we came out the boys saw the justice league heroes before we took our place on the floor, right in
front to watch scooby doo’s show and then the main parade.
our last rides were the journey 4D show and the justice
league 3D ride.
all in all, it was a good outing. we got to ride all that
was on my list and saw all the shows i planned. we walked the whole park from
front to back, from left to right. we weren’t rushed and managed to walk in and
out of 4 souvenir shops. we took lots and lots of pictures (and i mean a lot!!).
the boys had some moody scenes here and there but were generally good sports.
