Kota Kinabalu 2013 - Day Five

on our last day in KK, we took it easy. akmal was still under the weather so we let him sleep in quite late. we had a leisurely breakfast, as leisurely as we can with akmal complaining of tummy ache, of wanting to throw up, of cough.

we had only an hour after breakfast to finish packing up, print out our boarding passes and get the boys ready. we left by 10.45am and got to the airport almost an hour later. we returned the rented car and dropped the bag at the check-in counter. while waiting for to board, we had time to go to the surau.

this time around asyraf slept on board, amir and ariff watched movies the whole time and akmal alternated between saying he was hungry, had a tummy ache, coughing and sleeping.

 

we got home a little after four and i quickly started a load of laundry, folded clothes i aired before leaving and unpacking.

akmal's fever spiked up around dinner time but it was manageable and he didn't have a high temperature when he got into bed, alhamdulillah.
