after a quick breakfast we went to the front of the hotel to wait for the bus but were informed that there would be no bus services due to the weather. it was worse in paris compared to london. it was gloomy and wet and dark. hopefully it wont put a damper on our day out. we walked to the parks via the lake and found that it wasnt that far away. the boys remembered cafe mickey from the night before and wanted to eat there again (a request we ignored).
we walked slowly to the park entrance on slippery wet streets - almost falling down a few times. the magic of disney didnt die down though. the entrance was beautiful, the park was magical, the buildings spectacular, every inch was a dream.
the boys screamed at every character they knew (which was almost all). they wanted to go up on every ride - dumbo being their favourite, but looking at the queue i threw up a white flag immediately. we went on the carousel and the mat hatter's tea cup before taking a break from the weather to watch the pooh show.
when we left the show, it was drizzling and the crowd was getting larger. we walked towards the 'its a small world' ride but were scared of by the queue (again). we walked further to discoveryland to look for buzz lightyear's pizza planet where we planned to have lunch. we were there quite early and the place was still empty. we got a place right by the play area and let the boys loose while we had our lunch. they came to the table for a bite every now and then.
by 2pm, we called for a stop to make our way to walt disney studios park. we were stopped by the show by mickey and his friends. the boys loved it, all the characters at one place. it was too much for them to handle!
on the way to walt disney studios, asyraf fell asleep. he missed out on the cars' ride, slinky ride and appreances by pluto and donald.
we went back to the park to try to see the queue for its a small world and take the disneyland rail but the railway was late and we were stuck in the queue with 3 screaming boys. we wanted to leave but since we were already there, sigh! the boys woke up once we were in the train and loved the lights and sights and sounds of the whole park. the queue for its a small world was still long - at 6pm! so we left, stopped by mcdonalds to get dinner and went back to the room. our disneyland trip was ending and it was very sad.
